About Akash Raj
I am a student/research assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. I have a keen passion towards science and I believe that school is the best time to cultivate interest among young minds over science, hence I am teaching mathematics and science for high school students. Apart from science, I'm an artist, dancer, guitarist, chess player, rubik's cube speedsolver and also a state Karate champion.

I try to teach students largely through real life examples so as to give them a flavor about why this problem is important. Often times, students tend to neglect and overlook several concepts in science primarily due to the fact that they do not understand the significance and impact it has in the real world. I base my class roughly on CBSE syllabus but I can teach much more than just the syllabus itself. I have previous experience coaching students for competitive exams like JEE and NEET, but as I said above, it is my belief that a passion towards science must be cultivated at a much younger age.

Details
The fees is non-negotiable, but if the class lasts for 3 hours (as opposed to 2 everyday which is what I had in mind), I will charge Rs 350 per hour instead of 400
