After years studying the Great Books and learning Ancient Greek and French, I have worked as a freelance editor and teacher of English literature, philosophy, and academic writing. I have completed my CELTA teaching certificate and have taught students across five continents. I am currently working as a researcher in Philosophy of Religion.

My lessons focus on cultivating freedom of thought while following a personalized plan tailored to each student’s goals. I guide students in essay writing, thesis development, and critical thinking, while learning from them as much as I teach. I look forward to working with you to improve your academic skills and confidence.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Review submitted work and assess argument structure;
Provide guidance on clarity, logic, and cohesion;
Practice critical reading, writing strategies, and revision techniques;
Assign exercises to reinforce skills between sessions.
Who the Lessons Are For:
University and graduate students across all disciplines, particularly those working on essays, research papers, or theses. Though my expertise is in the humanities, I also support students in the sciences with editorial guidance and academic coaching. Non-native English speakers benefit especially, but any student seeking structured academic support and interdisciplinary insights is welcome.
