About Vicente
He has dedicated himself to research and teaching mainly in Adaptive Biological Sciences, Chemotaxonomy, Bioclimatology, Ecological and Molecular Microbiology, Evolutionary Biology and Biodiversity, Evolutionary and Atmospheric Chemistry, Aerobiology, Astrobiology and Aerospace Technology. His research lines include: 1, Prebiotic synthesis of biopolymers under simulated spatial conditions; 2, Stability of biomolecules under simulated Early Earth and Space conditions; 3,
Characterization of Extremophiles and determination of their adaptive responses; 4, Use of mineral resources from outer space for biological purposes, 5, Effect of the climate of extreme environments on the metabolic activity of microorganisms, and 6, Use of tropospheric and stratospheric rockets for aerobiology and biometeorology studies. He has assisted and co-directed 46 thesis and research projects
of graduate and undergraduate students and is currently an advisor to different international government institutions in the area of biodiversity.

The teaching plan is based on the experience acquired by me from countless fieldwork, expeditions and experimental laboratory work. The results of this research are evidenced in more than 150 scientific articles and books. This material will be the support base to create a personalized teaching plan. The acquisition of field and experimental experiences remotely will be promoted.
