About Ivy
With over 6 years of teaching experience, I enjoy helping students achieve their piano goals step by step. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Collaborative Piano and Chamber Music. This background gives me strong technique and musical understanding. I teach Beginners to Advanced students. I also guide those pursuing Mastery.
Every lesson is personalized. I specialize in pop piano arranging and chord voicing techniques. I teach students to play by ear confidently. You will understand songs instead of memorizing notes. Music becomes easier and more enjoyable.

I approach piano teaching through listening and understanding. I want students to connect their ears to the keyboard. We identify melodies and chords directly from music recordings. Rhythm exercises improve timing and coordination. Students gain musical clarity.
I teach chord recognition and bass movement analysis. Playing by ear becomes natural with practice. I also train intervals and pitch memory. These exercises support strong relative pitch. Learning becomes enjoyable.
I help music creators and arrangers understand harmony better. Lessons are flexible for Beginners to Advanced students. My aim is natural and expressive playing.
