About Jimmy
For almost 20 years, I taught college courses ranging from basic composition to creative writing, in addition to American and English literature courses. One technique that worked extremely well in gaining active participation of all students was to assign "jobs."

During my many years in college classrooms, in addition to essay writing, constructive dialogue, orderly topic disputation, classroom oratory exercises (public speaking), and weekly examinations, I encouraged students to concentrate their primary focus on education's holy grail: effective, efficient communication.

Details
My hourly rate remains the same, regardless of the student's level, but if I must travel outside my city of residence (Oxford, Mississippi) not to exceed 50 miles, I charge .30 per mile roundtrip.
