About Peta
I am an Early Childhood Teacher with Special Needs and English as a Second Language experience. I have just retired after 27 years and am still interested in teaching students. Some of my students are now lawyers, teachers and Mums with children.

My teaching is based on identity where the student is at and using their interests to increase their motivation and attention to develop their skills in particular learning areas like Maths and English. I like to use activity based activities which repeat the skill in different functional ways and to build a positive can do attitude towards learning.
