About Cynthia
I taught middle school and high school math for over 20 years. I taught Algebra 1 and Geometry for most of that time. I have a positive, affirming, and energetic vibe as I know that many students have a fear of mathematics. I believe that my chosen environment of teaching and learning addresses many of those fears!

I have a passion for math and my strength as a former math teacher was my ability to make math simple. I don’t assume that a student comes with the prerequisite knowledge of the subject area of interest. I like to take the time to teach the subject with building blocks in order to assure mastery.
