About the lesson

First, I will teach the basic concepts of the topics in depth, and how this topic is connected with real-life applications, so that the concept will sustain with students, the importance of the topics, deep learning of concepts next stage with concrete examples and finally past year exam questions for more practice to reinforce the concepts. As a part of take away, give some simple questions, let them do on their own and build confidence on the topic and slowly give more challenging questions. Follow the technique of Polya problem-solving skills, to develop problem-solving skills. I am a postgraduate in Mathematics, have worked with MOE since 1994, as a HOD then retired as a Senior teacher. Past 6 years doing IB AA HL mathematics paper examiner.
