I am a retired professional chess player with years of competitive experience. Chess has taught me discipline, patience, and strategic thinking, which I bring into every lesson. I am passionate about helping students improve their skills and develop confidence both on and off the board.

I am a patient and enthusiastic tutor who believes that learning should be practical, engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. My lessons in Chess are structured to build confidence while developing strong foundational skills.
I teach strategy, tactics, opening principles and game analysis to help students improve their decision making and overall performance.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous material, followed by the introduction of new concepts, guided practice, and exercises to reinforce learning. I encourage questions and adapt my teaching style to match each student’s pace and learning goals.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners of all ages. What sets me apart is my passion and experience as a retired professional chess player, combined with my commitment to helping students achieve their goals in a supportive learning environment.
