About Stellan
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 7 years of experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. Over the years, I have guided students from absolute beginners to advanced performers through structured and personalised lessons. My teaching philosophy is rooted in building strong fundamentals, encouraging consistent practice, and boosting student confidence.
I focus on finger strength, chord transitions, rhythm control, scale exercises, and understanding music theory. I also guide students in lead guitar, improvisation, and performance techniques once they are ready. Many of my students have performed at school annual days, college festivals, corporate events, and music competitions.
Some have even developed an interest in composing and forming bands. I create a friendly, disciplined, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring creativity. My goal is to help every learner build technical skills, confidence, and a lifelong passion for guitar.

My approach to teaching Guitar emphasises clarity, patience, and real-world application. I believe that effective communication between teacher and student creates a strong foundation for learning.
I design lessons based on each student’s current level and future goals. Along with Guitar techniques, I teach Music Theory fundamentals, Rhythm Control, Scale Application, Harmony understanding, Ear Training, Songwriting basics, and Performance preparation.
I use practical song examples and live performance analysis to show how musical ideas are applied professionally. Students begin with strengthening finger coordination, smooth chord transitions, and rhythm accuracy.
As they gain confidence, we explore advanced chord variations, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and creative solo building. I encourage consistent practice habits and provide regular feedback to support steady improvement. My goal is to guide students towards technical strength and artistic expression.
