About Christopher
I am a practicing studio artist with years of experience in my field. I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with an MFA in painting. RISD's MFA program is rated the second best in the country. Through that rigorous experience, I learned much about the art world, painting, and teaching.
I have an extensive history of gallery shows, as well as representation by a gallery in New York, Kravets Wehby. Besides my knowledge and experiences in the technical side of creating visual art, my time in the larger art world would be instrumental for those individuals looking to become professional artists.

As a practicing artist with gallery representation in New York and an MFA in painting from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, I have extensive experience in the fields of Drawing, Painting, and Airbrush Painting. I spent years honing my observational drawing skills from live models and I continue that tradition of realism with my painting work as well.
I have experience teaching not only at a college level, but also in pre-college programs with high school students. I have an accepting, patient demeanor meshed with a serious drive to help students learn the fundamentals of visual art, with a focus on developing not only technical skill, but also how to develop deep, meaningful concepts behind the artwork.
