About Kevin
I have taken 12 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and tests, including but not limited to Calculus BC, Computer Science A, Statistics, Physics C: Mechanics + Electricity & Magnetism, Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology. These are rigorous, college-level courses to gain college credit before graduating high school. I scored a 1560 on my SAT. I am a part of the Science and Engineering magnet program of Manalapan High School. Outside of school, I am a classically trained pianist and violinist, I competitively play volleyball, and I do digital art as a hobby.

I will have personalized methods to appeal to students' personalities, creativity, and ways of thinking. I put a lot of focus on ensuring the student understands why they are doing what they are doing, not simply how to do it. I am teaching math up to Algebra II and the basics of coding/programming.
A typical lesson would involve reviewing homework (if applicable) and focusing on what I know the student struggles with. If the student no longer struggles with that topic, we will move on. I will ensure that the student fully understands what they are learning to the extent that they would be able to teach it to their peers if required.
