About Elina
I have 6 years of experience teaching piano, and I am also a composer and performer. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis. My teaching is guided by the idea that music is a lifelong journey of exploration. I focus on improvisation and spontaneous composition to help students create their own voice. Beginners start with strong fundamentals while exploring creativity. Advanced learners dive into original works and performance techniques. Each lesson is a mix of structure and imagination. Technical skills are always tied to artistic expression. I encourage risk-taking and experimentation. My work as a composer brings depth to creative teaching. My approach to teaching piano focuses on auditory skills and ear training. I teach students to hear and identify chords, rhythms, and melodies by ear. This makes them more confident and independent musicians. I help learners develop relative pitch and guide them toward perfect pitch. Composers gain tools to bring their ideas to life instantly. Digital producers learn to create music without relying heavily on sheet music. Beginners are introduced gently through fun and simple exercises.
