About Adam
Hello! I am Adam, principal bassist and section clarinettist of His Majesty's Band of the Grenadier Guards, Central London. I studied History and Music at Keele University and graduated with a First Class Honours in July 2014, having specialised in solo bass performance. Prior to my career in London, I briefly taught secondary history in Warwickshire whilst continuing to perform in various ensembles across the Birmingham and West Midlands area. Although I enjoyed being a classroom teacher, the opportunity to serve as a professional musician was too good to ignore when it came up. I still greatly aspire to tutor others within musical fields however, because it is a subject that I am keen to inspire a genuine and enthusiastic passion for. Music is a universal language to be enjoyed by all regardless of either age or experience level.

My naturally enthusiastic and fun approach to learning forms the basis of my instructional style. I see music as not only a dedicated art form but also one that should be enjoyable and relaxing. Over the years my own teachers have inspired me to coach with a warm and approachable nature, thus adding a fun atmosphere to my pedagogical technique.
