About Courtney
I am a Mathematics student currently in my second year of university. I struggled with Maths when I was younger, yet due to an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher, I was inspired to continue my studies and excelled in examinations. I am therefore very keen to pass this enthusiasm on as Maths is such a fundamental subject. I have been tutoring for several years, both one-to-one and teaching groups of students from all abilities. I have experience in tutoring Maths from Year 6 all the way to A level standard.

I completely believe in 'practice makes perfect' and feel people learn best with examples. I am very aware Maths can seem very boring and we always get the questions 'will we ever use this' however I'm a firm believer that Maths can in fact be interesting and I aim to grasp an enthusiasm in my students first as I believe the learning follows well from there. I am completely flexible in modifying my teaching style to suit each student.
