About Haashir
Hi, I’m Haashir! I’m a pre-med student at Rutgers University with a passion for teaching math and chemistry. Beyond academics, I love playing sports, hanging out with friends, and meeting new people. I’m very open-minded and enjoy conversations with people from all walks of life. My goal is to bring that same energy and friendliness into tutoring—making lessons engaging, approachable, and tailored to each student’s needs.

I’m a Rutgers undergrad tutoring math and chemistry for middle school, high school, and early college students. Having been through the full K-12 system myself, I know exactly what teachers expect and all the little tips and tricks that make tough concepts easier. I create my own materials, tailor lessons to each student’s needs, and spend time getting to know how they learn best. A typical session includes reviewing past material, breaking down new concepts step by step, practicing problems together, and building confidence through clear explanations. What sets me apart is my patience, my ability to simplify challenging topics, and my focus on making learning both effective and enjoyable.
