About Safia
Hi, I'm Safia — a qualified ESL teacher with a TEFL certification and a genuine passion for helping learners who have struggled with traditional English teaching methods.
I love teaching English to neurodivergent learners of all ages, including students with dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety and autism. My teaching style is warm, structured and completely judgement-free — because I believe every brain has its own brilliant way of learning.
What makes my courses different is the range of techniques I bring to every lesson. Alongside proven ESL teaching methods, I weave in mindfulness and yoga-inspired breathing and movement practices to help learners regulate anxiety, improve focus and feel calm enough to truly absorb new language. For neurodivergent learners especially, a settled nervous system is the foundation of all good learning.
I have hands-on experience, both in person and online, supporting students through real challenges — including helping a student with autism, dyslexia and anxiety successfully prepare for their GCSE English exam. That experience shaped everything about how I teach.
I also bring experience working with dementia clients, which has deepened my ability to create a comfortable, patient and truly inclusive learning environment for every student I work with.
My courses are built around one simple belief: that with the right support, the right pace, and the right environment, every learner can make real progress in English.
