About David
"Friends, Romans, countrymen: lend me your ears." (Marc Antony) And do I have your ear here? Want to tell you I was a certified teacher of Latin, English, French. Also have college credits in Spanish, German, Greek. I'm blessed with a gift for languages. (But not math!) As a tutor I'm patient and understanding. I care about my students. I retired from the classroom but not from teaching. And I still like to learn. And laugh. And help others, including students. My other passions include music, baseball, gardening ,and people.

I will work with you in whatever aspects of Latin you need to improve--conjugation of verbs, noun forms, sentence structure/syntax, etc. You decide. I am patient, understanding, and encouraging. I care about you. We'll go at a pace at which you are successful. And have a laugh or two. I also can teach many common Latin phrases (if you want): Quid pro quo. Ex officio. Bona fide. Ad hominem (verbal attack). Vita brevis, ars longa. In loco parentis--No, it doesn't mean "My parents are crazy!" Now I'd like to meet you, and tame that Latin "beast!" Eamus!
