About Tejas
I am an eager biochemistry major at UC San Diego finishing an Honors Chemistry course. Many of the methods that I teach come from my own learning experiences and setbacks. I often struggle with tough subjects and compiled many strategies to get ahead. My grades are a testament to my methods, averaging an A grade in Calculus (I, II and III) and A+ grade in General Chemistry.
Aside from academics, I love music and am part of UCSD's premier South Asian A Capella group Sitaare. I'm a big time dog lover and will gladly share pup stories!

- I take highly interactive classes and focus on simplifying tough concepts in science and math.
-My lessons include new explanations, strategies and more for concepts with weekly homework to ensure growth and understanding.
-I encourage students to bring forth any questions about topics they struggle with and work with them to move forward.
-A main theme in my lessons is teaching the "Scientific Method", i.e, how to take a hard problem and progress by yourself. This includes how to ask the right questions, how to brainstorm new ideas, and get ahead with critical thinking.
-These lessons are primarily for high-school students or 1st year college students taking Science (Chemistry, Physics or Biology) and Math (including Precalculus and Calculus) classes.
