About Suhani
My name is Suhani, and I am a dedicated online tutor with a strong academic background and a professional, student-focused approach. I am currently an incoming pre-med student at The Ohio State University, where I received a full-ride merit scholarship for my work in high school (research symposiums, advocacy initiatives, club leadership, etc.). I graduated in the top 2% of my high school class, scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT, and was accepted into BS/DO programs.
I specialize in SAT prep, college application support, essay review, Common App activities, and school subject tutoring. My goal is to provide organized and personalized lessons that help students feel more confident and prepared. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals so that every session is focused and productive.
As a tutor, I explain concepts clearly, give constructive feedback, and help students build strong study habits. For SAT prep, I focus on content review, timing strategies, question patterns, and targeted practice. For college applications, I help students brainstorm essays, improve their activities section, and create a clear plan for applying to competitive schools.
Students and families can expect me to be patient, prepared, respectful, and committed to helping each student improve. My academic success and recent experience with the college admissions process allow me to give practical, honest, and effective guidance. I am looking to help students prepare their best work through the middle of June to the middle of August -- this is the ideal time for middle and high school students to improve their resumes, increase test scores, and get a start on applications.

My name is Suhani, and my approach as a tutor is personal and goal-focused. I work with students online to understand exactly what they need help with, whether that is SAT prep, school subjects, college applications, or building a strong long-term study plan.
My teaching method is based on breaking confusing topics into simple steps, practicing with real examples, and helping students learn how to think through problems instead of just memorizing answers. I am especially able to help students struggling with Algebra. For SAT prep, I focus on common question types, timing strategies, mistake patterns, and test-taking tips. For college applications, I help students brainstorm, organize, and strengthen their essays and activities so their personality and accomplishments come through clearly and with impact.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing the student’s goals and current challenges. Then, we work through practice problems, essay drafts, application sections, or school assignments together. I also give specific feedback, explain what to improve, and help create a clear plan for what the student should study or revise next.
What sets me apart is that I recently went through the college admissions process myself and understand what high school students are experiencing. I graduated at the top of my class, scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT, earned a full-ride merit scholarship to OSU, and was accepted into multiple BS/DO programs. I know how to help students present themselves strongly while staying authentic.
My lessons are best for middle school and high school students who need help with school subjects (especially Algebra), SAT prep, study planning, Common App activities, essays, and college admissions strategy.
