About Sam
I’m a Molecular and Cellular Biology major at Johns Hopkins University with a 4.0 GPA and a 1570 SAT score. I specialize in SAT Math and Reading/Writing, with a strong foundation in both verbal and STEM-based problem-solving. As a premed student and NCAA athlete, I’ve developed disciplined, high-efficiency study strategies that I use to help students boost scores and reduce test anxiety. I’ve worked extensively as a teaching assistant in elementary school classrooms, supporting students one-on-one and in small groups across math, reading, and writing. These experiences taught me how to adapt my explanations to a wide range of learning styles, especially for students who need extra clarity or encouragement. In college, I continue to mentor others by helping my peers with homework, exam prep, and time-management strategies in a high-pressure academic environment.
