About Tyler
I was an intelligence soldier in the military who faught in Afghanistan. My main job was to run sources and create new ones when we raided a compound. Now I hated the Army but it did show me my love for writing. I've tutored friends and family before but to be honest this will be my first time working with students I don't know paying me to do it. I am a very great teacher, and a wonderful people person. Anytime I have ever helped someone with a paper or a homework assignment about literature they have gotten an A every single time. I have also ghost written for some very successful authors.

My name is Tyler Dietz. I am a published writer both in creative writing and peer reviewed journalism. My undergrad is in English and communications and I am currently a graduate student. I prefer to work with high school students, but am also willing to work with college freshmen in lower level courses. My philosophy is once you begin your upper level writing courses in college you should be prepared to handle that on your own. My biggest strength obviously is as a writer, both creative and academic. I can help your child or you as a student become a better writer by reading certain books that help show story structure and the different ways of displaying it, among many other examples of the ways reading can make you a better writer. We will then do writing excercises to help them get outside of the box and learn to use to full range of writing techniques. I can also help with historical literature ranging from Shakespearean era poetry, through the romantic and Victorian eras, and into modern works.

Details
I set those rates as standard. I typically will not charge for travel unless it is very far away. A standard lesson where I help with homework, go over literary techniques, skills to become a better writer, lessons on grammar will be 15$ an hour. Special sessions where we meet at a library or computer lab of some sort to work on essays, research papers, or anything of the like could possibly go up to 20 but we will talk about that and you will be notified way before hand; however as you noticed I will always give a discount if you buy multiple hours in advance.
