About Ishmam
The first thing I should say is that money doesn't matter; People matter. To reach out for tutoring, for help, is one of the bravest things you can do. It's my job to assure that your time is not being wasted. Not everyone has access to a tutor; you get not just a counsel of knowledge, but a person who can offer advice as well. Human to human, an exchange of ideas and trust. That is what we will have in each of our sessions.

I am a very patient person; My tutoring comes from a place of understanding and connection. Not everyone learns the same, thus my methods for teaching are almost never streamlined. That being said, generally I set a lesson plan and take it step by step. In order to promote understanding of the material, I engage with the person as much as I engage with the content. I care if my lessons end up making someone learn at the end. Thus my desire to connect with my students as people set me apart as tutor as it also aligns with my philosophy.
My lessons are for those who want to go med school and are struggling with their pre med classes, or for anyone struggling in general. Reaching out for help is one of the most brave things you can do. As a tutor, I care to not waste my students time as long as they take steps to actively learn. Thus, I have lessons for those in college, but also middle school and high school with the SAT or other subjects. I am most proficient in Biology + Biochemistry for middle school all the way to college.
