About Emzi
I am Emzi, my pronouns are she/her and I am very excited to be your future English Tutor!
I am 21 years old from Cape Town, South Africa. I have been a private tutor since I was 17 years old because I have always excelled in my academics. I love to help, I love meeting new people and seeing how we can influence each other’s journeys.
Why I have always preferred tutoring to teaching is because the more private contact is more conducive to specialised learning/teaching. I feel that I can do more good as a tutor.
When I am not tutoring, I love to visit bookstores and libraries, play the piano and I love learning different languages. I love to bake and my passion is songwriting.

My style of tutoring and educating my students has always been a guided approach. I am here to further your understanding, provide a different avenue to learn and allow you to reach to the necessary thinking for a particularly challenging aspect on your pre-existing knowledge.
As your tutor, I am here to play on your team. Imagine a relay race, the baton is being passed to me to help you finish the race for that victory lap! I hope with me in your corner, you feel the confidence to overcome your challenges.
