My Approach to Tutoring
I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore new concepts. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas through real-life examples, visuals, and step-by-step explanations. I also regularly check for understanding and adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning style, whether they prefer hands-on activities, visual aids, or guided practice.
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes, during which I balance concept explanation, practice exercises, and revision of previous topics. I also provide short recap notes or homework tasks when needed to reinforce learning.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and have experience working with children, which has helped me develop strong communication and classroom-management skills. I enjoy teaching and creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to do their best.
My lessons are designed for primary school students in Grades 3 to 6, especially those needing support in Science and Maths or wanting to build confidence and improve their academic performance.
