About Joseph
I am a high school educator with 21 years of classroom experience at the same school in Palm Beach County. I have taught: Biology Honors, Earth/Space Science, Environmental Science, Marine Science Honors, IB Marine Science, and AICE Marine Science. I am a very student-centered educator and love to work with my students one on one. I know of many techniques to help students reach a better understanding of complex information and concepts.

My teaching style is what is called student-centered, meaning that I love to have the students take possession of their learning. I believe in using examples and non-examples in order for the students to better understand the material. I love teaching and love science. Tutoring is a great experience because it is very fulfilling to see a pupil grasp material that he/she thought was totally out of reach for them. I love taking students through their educational roadblocks and doing it in a way that makes them feel like they did all on their own!
