Having taught chemistry at the graduate level at Penn State and mentored high schoolers, undergraduates, and industry professionals alike, I know how to demystify complex concepts. I spend time learning about you, and where you are with science in general. I will learn what you know and your specific interest. I will also ask why you are learning this... is it for a test, entry exam, or job interview.
Once we have established where we are going and your motivations, we begin our lessons. Each lesson will bring new information, and better understanding on where to improve your understanding. My lesson plan will be a reflection on where you, the student, are with regard to level of understanding.
I teach primarily high school, college and grad school levels, as well as those who seek a career in the sciences, whether on the scientific side or business side.
