About Joy
Hi! I’m Joy, a passionate science tutor and future high school science teacher. I have a B.Sc. in Biology from UNB Saint John and a Master’s in Marine Management from Dalhousie University. I’m currently completing my Master of Teaching in Science Education (MST) with a focus on secondary school science. Alongside tutoring, I also work with Fisheries and Oceans Canada, where I apply science and management in real-world conservation and research. This hands-on experience helps me bring fresh, practical insight into each lesson. I’m enthusiastic, patient, and genuinely love helping students feel more confident in science. Whether you’re struggling with biology or just want to boost your skills, I’m here to support you every step of the way!
