About Ruth
I am a science teacher at a grammar school. I have taught science for 8 years having completed a BSc in sport science with honours and taught PE to A level for 8 years. I changed to science following a hip operation. I have A levels in the 3 sciences mentioned above.

My teaching method is to make my lessons fun and hands on. I encourage my students to take ownership of their learning by guiding them towards the required knowledge providing information and practical work that cements their learning. I encourage student participation in all lessons to ensure that learning is robust and encourages independent thought and linking of previous learning.
