About Stephen
I am a science teacher with a degree background of a 1st Class Honours degree in Biochemistry. Having taught for 7 years, including teaching teachers how to teach as a part of my job, learning has always been my lifelong passion. I want to tutor to widen my net; to reach the maximum number of students that I can to enable them to succeed and boost their grades!
To get to know me a little more personally, I live in Cheltenham with my partner and our dog, Orla. I love long walks, sports (playing & watching!) and reading non-fiction.

Private tutoring is not like being in a lesson at school - it's all about you and boosting your grades to the next level! My approach will cater for your needs; I've taught all levels of students to GCSE in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
We'll start with your areas of expertise; where your prior knowledge excels to identify your areas of greatest need to build, extend and consolidate your know-how to boost your exam performance.
Whilst learning isn't all about exams, I understand that students often work with tutors for one reason; to boost their grade. I will equip you with the knowledge, skills and resources to succeed in doing this!

I charge £20 per hour for a 1 hour session, with a £10 additional charge to travel to your home to account for time and fuel.
Book in 5 or 10 lesson chunks for a discounted price.
I offer 30 minutes for free on our first interaction to get to know one another and to establish if you would like to work with me as your tutor.
