About Ola
I am passionate about inspiring, supporting, and encouraging the people around me, and I take pride in contributing to others’ success whenever I can. As a continuous learner myself, I understand the challenges students face and bring empathy, patience, and motivation to every lesson.
Alongside my science teaching, I also teach in other subject areas, which has strengthened my ability to adapt my approach to different learners and learning styles. My goal is always to create a positive, confidence-building environment where students feel supported and empowered to grow.

I take a reflective and student-centred approach to tutoring, adapting my teaching to each learner’s needs and encouraging active engagement through targeted questioning. I focus on building strong foundations in key principles and use a range of learning techniques to develop confidence and independence.
A typical 60-minute lesson includes three phases:
Retrieval practice to reinforce prior learning
Introduction of new content with clear explanations and modelling
Guided and independent practice where students demonstrate understanding, tackle challenges, and apply the concept to exam-style questions
I provide scaffolding when needed and explicitly teach how to approach exam questions, highlighting common pitfalls and effective strategies.
I have over 10 years of experience tutoring GCSE students across a range of exam boards and specifications. My lessons are designed for learners aged 13–16 who are preparing for their GCSEs, whether they need support to build confidence or are aiming for top grades.
