About Falak
I am passionate about Science. Science can often feel overwhelming, but I find it incredibly rewarding to break difficult concepts down into simple, understandable ideas and see students progress over time.
My background in Biomedical Science has given me a deep appreciation for how science impacts the real world, and I enjoy bringing that enthusiasm into my lessons to make learning more engaging and meaningful. I believe every student is capable of success with the right support, guidance, and teaching approach, and I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, think independently, and achieve their goals.

With over 7 years of secondary school teaching experience and a PhD in Biomedical Science, I specialise in GCSE Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. My lessons focus on helping students truly understand and retain knowledge, not just memorise content for exams.
I use the “I, We, You” teaching approach in every lesson:
I do – I clearly explain and model the concept.
We do – We practise together with guided support.
You do – Students apply their learning independently through exam-style questions.
This structure builds confidence, strengthens long-term memory, and improves exam performance. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.
