About Siddhant
I’m currently a DP1 student in the IB curriculum with Biology, Chemistry & Physics at the Higher Level, after completing my MYP journey with a score of 54/56. I took on a rigorous subject load with all three sciences, extended mathematics, and the design e-portfolio — which really helped me grow as a learner and problem-solver. Beyond academics, I’m passionate about tennis and play regularly to stay active and competitive. I also love spending time with dogs (I’m a huge dog person!) And, I don't like to admit this, but I really enjoy relaxing through video games when I’m off studies. Most importantly, I love to teach. I’d describe myself as curious, hardworking, and balanced — an individual who enjoys both challenging academics and meaningful hobbies. I’m always eager to learn new things, connect with others, and push myself both in and out of the classroom.

As an MYP Alumna who has scored the top marks in Biology, Chemistry & Physics - I know the structure that one must follow to perform the best in the Sciences. Sessions will be structured around the needs of the students.
Overview of Session Structure:
10 min – Quick recap or quiz from last lesson
20 min – Teach new topic (use diagrams, videos, or notes)
20 min – Practice (questions, mini worksheet)
10 min – Review & reflection (“What did you learn today?”, Short quiz)
Teachings will be structured around the best way to score a 7 in sciences, and the first thing to cover would be format. In initial sessions, the format of the paper will be covered:
Criterion A: Knowing and Understanding
Focus: Content knowledge and scientific concepts.
Students must:
- Show understanding of content & topics covered across the sciences.
- Use correct scientific vocabulary.
- Apply knowledge to new situations.
Example task: Answer structured questions about cells, ecosystems, or genetics.
Criterion B: Inquiring and Designing
Focus: Scientific investigations, designing an investigation around a guiding question.
Students must:
- Formulate a clear research question or problem, justify the research question etc.
- Plan an experiment with variables, justify why certain variables are used and create a detailed method.
- Identify and use appropriate materials and techniques.
Example task: Design an experiment to test how light affects plant growth, how temperature affects rate of reaction or how mass affects an acceleration of a rocket.
Criterion C: Processing and Evaluating
Focus: Data handling and analysis.
Students must:
- Collect and record data accurately (tables, graphs, etc.).
- Interpret patterns/trends within scientific data.
- Evaluate results and explain errors or improvements to the methodology, hypothesis etc.
Example task: Analyze data from an enzyme activity lab and suggest improvements, analyze data from rate of reaction based experiments etc.
Criterion D: Reflecting on the Impacts of Science
Focus: Science in real-life context.
Students must:
- Discuss how science interacts with society and environment.
- Show awareness of ethical, cultural, or global impacts.
- Support arguments with evidence from sources (provided) or through MYP knowledge.
Example task: Debate the use of genetic modification, discuss climate change effects or discuss the use of solar energy as a means of renewable energy. Understanding the structure of papers in IB MYP is incredibly important in attaining the highest level in your Sciences.
Sessions will then be targeted around main struggle points for the student, any aspect of the subject that may be hard to understand will be taught during the session.
Students should come prepared with resources from their classes which they may have problems with, the concept will then be taught.
Time management techniques will also be covered, and tips-and-tricks from a top-scorer would be shared.

Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor
Siddhant has always been among the top 5% of his class and loves the process of learning new things. He’s all about understanding concepts clearly, not just memorizing them. Siddhant has a knack for explaining tough topics in simple, relatable ways - making learning fun and easy for everyone. Being a student himself, he totally gets what his peers go through and makes studying a lot more enjoyable. Happy learning, everyone!
Siddhant is an excellent teacher with a strong command over science subjects. He explains concepts very clearly and makes even difficult topics easy to understand. His teaching style is patient, engaging, and well-structured, which helps build confidence and interest in the subject. Siddhant also tailors his lessons according to the student’s level and pace, ensuring that every session is productive. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated science tutor
Siddhant, from what I experienced as a peer of his during MYP, is a passionate student as well as a teacher. To help those around him and strengthen his own understanding, he conducted many sessions with his fellow students regarding the sciences, and I happened to be one of them. Through these sessions, there was a noticeable improvement, particularly in Chemistry, since it was a subject that even my basics were shaky on. Siddhant taught efficiently and effectively, with commendable patience no matter the query.
I did my MYP 4 and 5 with Siddhant and he was incredible when teaching me biology and chemistry. He explained the concepts clearly and effectively and was able to identify my weak points so that I could work on them individually in preparation for my assessments.
