About Sarah
I have a degree in Fashion Design. I have worked in the fashion industry as a patternmaker and loved what I did. I branched off to teach both at the middle school and college levels. I taught intro to sewing classes, garment construction, digital textile design and fashion design/illustration. I also had my own seamstress business out of my home where I made custom gowns, did bridal alterations and prototyped crazy ideas from clients. All were very satisfying and educating in their own way.

Patience, patience and patience. I listen to what the student needs and adjust my lessons accordingly. Some students need more time to grasp one concept or another. Some breeze through a concept and need more of a challenge. Also, there are no stupid questions in my class.

Cancellation policy is 24 hours advanced notice. If the lesson is canceled later than that, or there is a no show, the fee for the lesson is still due.
The first free lesson will be to discuss your wants/needs out of lessons and to brainstorm some ideas of ways forward.
