About Amit
A seasoned funds management professional with experience spanning the entire investment ecosystem — from superannuation funds and wealth managers to global custodian banks. This breadth of exposure has given me a holistic understanding of the practical skills and insights required to succeed in the real world. I hold an MBA from the University of Melbourne, specializing in Strategy and Quantitative Finance, and a Master’s in Finance from Deakin University. I take an industry-focused and practical approach to teaching, drawing on real-world experience to make complex financial concepts accessible and engaging.
I specialise in the following subjects and areas:
Core Finance, Corporate Finance, Investments, and Mergers & Acquisitions
Financial Modelling, including 3-statement models, DCF and valuation analysis, M&A/LBO transactions, and Real Estate Investment Fund modelling.
My lessons are designed for undergraduate and postgraduate business students, as well as MBA candidates — particularly those entering from non-business backgrounds.
Each session typically runs for 1–2 hours, though I tailor the duration and content to meet individual learning goals.
