About Shireen
I am in college and am a business major with a legal foundation minor at The Ohio State University. I have taken math up to college-level calculus and statistics with an A/High B average. I received a high 760 on my SAT math section so I have tutored in SAT math for 2 years. I have also tutored students in pre-calculus and algebra for 2 years in high school. I tutored several college students in calculus this past year. I was on the high school debate team and have played lacrosse for 7 years. My strongest side for teaching is SAT math and Calculus as there has been the most recent practice for me due to other tutoring events and college classes recently taken.

My teaching method is practice problem-based. If a student is not understanding the fundamentals, I will break it down into a real-life scenario to help better understand and then sort through easier and harder practice problems with the student. This way the student will be able to answer similar questions on exams no matter how the teacher decides to phrase a question.

Details
Cancellation fees will apply if a student tries to cancel an appt less than 24 hours before the tutoring session. If cancellation within this time window occurs there will be a 10 dollar cancellation fee per hour of tutoring planned.
