Second year English student, have been a peer tutor for one year. Students enjoy working with me, because I listen to their needs. I specialize in English Composition 101.

Amy is an excellent and diligent tutor. She is thorough with her evaluation of student writing and delivers her feedback clearly and compassionately. As a tutor in a community college tutoring center, she was sought out by many students who felt seen and heard by her for the first time by a college professional.

She was kind, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She never made me feel like I was uneducated, she allowed me to direct where I needed help and she expertly guided from there.

She is a good tutor.

Five stars isn't enough. Amy worked for me as one of my tutors. She always gave each student her complete focus and would advocate for them when needed. As a tutor, she was able to make her student feel at ease using her positive attitude and a little bit of humor. She was a welcome addition to my team and I think she'd be an excellent tutor for whomever chooses to work with her.
