I have always had a passion for teaching as I find it a very fulfilling role. I receive great satisfaction when a student understands the work. English can be a difficult subject as there is not one standard answer, and I thoroughly enjoy allowing people to explore different texts.

Being a student myself I know how important it is for you to learn in a way which is beneficial to you. I would not teach in one way universal way as I would tailor it to the way each student finds best. I would use a range of texts to analyse different writing styles and then for them to apply this to their own learning. We would start with more basic texts and then steadily progress to more advanced texts. This is pivotal to learning as an English student. Reading is the key to success. My speciality is GCSE English Language and Literature, however I am open to teaching a range of students.
