Hi! I'm Esther, and I am in my second year studying theoretical physics at the University of Edinburgh (but I skipped first year so A-levels are still fresh in my mind). I have always loved learning and enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping people achieve their academic goals. I studied maths, further maths, physics and computer science at A-level.

I tailor each lesson to the unique needs of every student, ensuring we work at a pace that feels comfortable and effective for them. To make the most of our time, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if there’s a particular topic you’d like to cover, so I can prepare the best resources.
My teaching approach is grounded in neuroscience research on learning, emphasizing active recall and techniques like the Feynman method to build deep, lasting understanding. I also assign thoughtful homework between lessons to reinforce progress.
Above all, I bring patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to your learning journey. I believe in creating a supportive environment where questions are welcomed, and every student feels confident to learn at their own pace.
Additionally, I’m happy to share the study techniques that have worked well for me, assist with revision planning, and provide guidance for admissions preparation.
