About Carmen
As someone with a naturally analytical and inquisitive mind, I love exploring the sciences, particularly biology and chemistry. This has led me to the world of medicine and healthcare, where I have decided to pursue a career as a doctor.
With this comes with the desire to share my knowledge with others - and there is no better way to do this than teaching younger students! I understand that the fundamental concepts of biology and chemistry can be difficult to grasp initially as I have experienced the stress of GCSE and A Level exams before, which is why I would love to help others navigate their way around the beginning of their journey as a scientist.

Achieved 10 grade 9s and 1 A* at GCSE level, including biology, chemistry, maths and further maths.
Achieved 4A* in biology, chemistry, maths and economics at A Level.
Now going into my second year as a medic at Queen Mary University of London.
2 years experience in mentoring and tutoring GCSE students in chemistry and biology.
Offering 1 hour lessons to students in year 7 to year 12.
Lessons will cover the fundamental concepts of the sciences in depth, in a method that is curated to each student's style of learning (auditory, visual, kinaesthetic etc.). As well as the subject content, I also believe that exam technique is equally as important to aceing assessments, so I endeavour to incorporate tips and tricks to gain the often missed marks.
