About Portia
I’m a second year medical school student I have successfully tutored close family members and friends and would love to extend my assistance to those who need it most. I believe the education system doesn’t always allow for the level of attention and time needed to help a student reach their full potential but that’s where tutors can step in and make a difference.

My teach method is to start by identifying the gaps in knowledge and weak points, in order to build a strong foundation. Then progress topic by topic to build knowledge and exam skills with exam style questions and past papers. I believe helping to develop good note taking skills that suit the student whether it be flash cards, posters or spider diagrams etc is also essential.
