About Daniel
Kia ora! I am Daniel, a second-year medical student studying at the University of Auckland. I completed my first year in biomedical science with a GPA of 9.0 (both for core + and noncore inclusive), alongside an MMI score of 201.81/210.
I have also achieved the NZQA Outstanding Scholar Award in both 2023 and 2024, with Outstanding Scholarships in English and History, alongside Scholarships in 7 other subjects. I have also achieved NCEA 1, 2 and 3 at Excellence (50+ Excellence credits in each level). I have tutored before, both privately and through school-run initiatives, wherein my tutees displayed exceptional results.

My ethos emphasises a ground-up approach to tutoring. I ensure that all basics and principles are thoroughly covered, alongside higher-level skills such as critical thinking, textual analysis, and developing a personal flair in writing. I have an hands-on approach in teaching, which involves many practice responses, writing, and vocabulary tests.
In addition, as an experienced debater, I can also assist with the speech standard for NCEA English.
