About Skye
I am a second-year Primary Education student at the University of Reading with experience supporting and teaching children across primary year groups. I am passionate about helping children build confidence in their learning and creating lessons that are engaging, supportive and suited to each child’s individual needs.
My aim is to make learning enjoyable while helping children develop their understanding and achieve their goals in a positive learning environment.

I am a second-year Primary Education student at the University of Reading with experience teaching and supporting children in primary school classrooms across a range of ages and abilities. My approach to tutoring is supportive, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs, helping them to grow in both confidence and understanding.
I use a range of teaching techniques including modelling, questioning, practical activities and step-by-step explanations to make learning clear and accessible. I aim to create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger children if preferred. I can support with Maths, English, reading, phonics and homework support.
My lessons are mainly for primary-aged children KS1 pupils, and I adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles and abilities.
