About Umaymah
I am an 18 year old Sixth Form student and I’d like to teach as I feel education in the UK needs some younger, fresher minds working in the field who are not only up to date with exam boards and personal experience - but also being of similar age to students to create a sense of empathy and for lessons to be more personal and engaging. Teaching has always been something I have been interested in and I aim to become a Primay School teacher after Sixth Form.

As for GCSE level, I can help with both English Literature and Language and I achieved a grade 8 and 9 in both despite finishing Year 11 throughout the pandemic. Poetry, novels, essays, annotations, techniques, creative writing, SPAG etc are all covered in my lessons and I understand how to make lessons interesting. For English learners, I am British born and can fluently speak English. I can help with SPAG, writing, pronounciation, and speaking.
