About Thenjiwe
Hy, my name is Zondi Thenjiwe from Sebokeng ( Tshepong) in Gauteng province. I am currently doing my second degree of bachelor of education majoring in Mathematics and English, doing my second year of study.
I am a mother of one, 30 years old and I am very passionate about teaching mathematics specifically because I find it different from the rest of the subjects. One subject that you can give an answer and check if it is correct before you can even have your script back or leave the exam room, how awesome is that!
Back at school I used to teach my class-mates and even now I have a group of students who comes over the holidays or whenever they have a difficult mathematics home-work that I assist them with.

It is very challenging to teach high school learners since they are teenagers and they experience lot of emotions and confusions trying to figure out who they are and dealing with physical changes that they do not really understand.
before teaching my student I try to give them a chance to tell me how was their day at school, how are they doing, their hobbies and their challenges.
then try to find out what they have covered so far at school so far and what they are busy with now. Tracking back on what they covered, what topics they did not do well to cover then later when we are done with the topics they are doing and those they will be doing in the next 2 weeks.
my lessons are basically in English language but exception can be made for those speaking my home language|(sesotho).
I can teach all students from grade 3-12 but my aim specifically is Senior phase and FET (grade 7-12)
