About Jeremy
As a returning college student, my first two years at a junior college was great, but when I took the opportunity to transfer to the University of Denver I was thrilled! I wasn’t fully prepared as I thought I was. I knew I would have to tackle Calculus and I hadn’t taken math yet. So I tried myself first and failed, butof course you don’t give up! I got with two tutors who committed their time to me when I was down and feeling overwhelmed. For 10 weeks we worked together and I overcame Calculus. It’s these small experiences that gave me big rewards and that’s why I love teaching and tutoring.

As a teacher working with students, it’s my job to help students formulate questions to a phenomenon in the natural world, to build up investigative questions to build on a theory and hypothesis, read and interpret graphs and write scientific explanations. I can offer help in cell theory, homeostasis, genetics, ecology and evolution through Colorado state standards.
