About Luke
I teach full-time at a secondary school in Hertfordshire, where I have worked since qualifying as a teacher in 2019. I am fully committed to my students' progress and personal development, and take great pride in nurturing a positive classroom environment. I am particularly adept at developing engaging digital learning resources. I have also worked as a GCSE examiner for the French speaking exam.
I have a Masters degree in Language Learning from the University of Southampton, where I specialised in second language learning methodology and worked as a Teaching Assistant in a local secondary school alongside my studies.

As a secondary school teacher, I pride myself on developing a strong rapport with my students and creating a learning environment where you will feel confident to develop your spoken and communication skills. I am approachable and encouraging, with a sense of humour.
I will work with you to identify the areas you would like to focus on, and personalise your lessons accordingly so you can get the most out of them. I will also provide resources for you after the lesson to keep and allow you to practise independently.
