About Kimmy
Hi, my name is Kimmy and I'm in 3 gymnasium now. I am a student, who would like to help younger students of primary school or secondary school by providing tutoring. This could be any subject you wish (languages, arithmetic, mathematics, science, geography, history or biology). My knowledge of these subjects is very broad, as I am eager to learn and can quickly pick up new things. Because of these characteristics, I am in the 3rd year of secondary school on average 8.3. With mainly mathematics (9.1) and Dutch (also called language in primary schools (8.8)) where I could offer a lot of help. I already have some experience teaching friends and family, they were very happy with my help. I am also very flexible and available to teach at almost any time.

I have observed that many children have difficulty with certain subjects or homework because they simply do not know how to understand and remember the material and sometimes do not master skills such as planning. However, this is solved quite easily by testing which ways of learning work well for the child. Summarizing may work for one child, but not for another. Knowing what works and what doesn't work for you to learn will help the child to understand more later on. In addition, I naturally provide additional explanation about the subject. Where reading well, understanding the words used in the explanation, making links with his / her environment and practicing are the most important. So these will also be the ways I usually explain.

Perfect! Kimmy is een super lieve en vooral geduldige meid. Mijn kinderen zijn dol op haar. Mijn man & ik ook. Kimmy kan goed improviseren en heeft zo de aandacht van de kids. De kinderen worden steeds een beetje beter met hun schoolwerk. Ik raad iedereen haar aan en hoop dat we zelf nog lang van haar wekelijkse aanwezigheid kunnen genieten.
