About Katelyn
Hello guys, I’m teacher Katelyn you may call me Ms. Kay or Ms. Katelyn and I am most interested in helping you gain trust in the two subjects Chinese and math. I know sometimes math can be a little scary because of the formulas and rules you need to remember but with the right guidance you would be able to understand math more and be more interested in learning it! As for Chinese I want to help y'all by being patient and making Chinese fun and engaging, make it not like a second language but as a language that is on par with English in your life and gradually it will get easier.

Hi I’m Katelyn. I am a passionate, fluent bilingual, and dedicated secondary school graduate seeking a part-time position tutoring primary school students in Mathematics and Chinese. Possessing a deep understanding of primary school student psychology, specifically recognizing why young learners often lose confidence and steer away from these challenging subjects due to fear and rote-memorization. I am definitely committed to breaking the stigma around difficult topics by replacing overwhelming stress with fun learning Math and interactive, relatable context for Chinese. Approachable, patient, and results-driven peer mentor equipped with practical childcare experience (due to having younger siblings in primary school🥹), eager to foster academic confidence and a genuine love for learning in future world changers.
