I expect we might have this in common—I am a self taught home cook, and I don’t come from a restaurant background where you’re supplied the ideal tools for the job. In my experience, home cooking is a negotiation of the skills and tools and ingredients we have available to us.
That process isn’t a bad thing—following the path to a delicious, quick, and affordable dinner is seriously possible—you just have to be willing to think flexibly and try something new. I hope you’ll join me!
